Title: Items Highlighted In Red Post by: meehanmama on February 13, 2007, 07:48:06 AM Hi there!
When I enter a return... on the sales order it is not red... but when its printed it is red. When I enter a Backorder/Unavailable items... on the slaes order it is red... but when its printed it is black. I would really like to see all three types highlighted in red... and previewed that way to. Thanks a bunch! Title: Re: Items Highlighted In Red Post by: tweetmarilu on February 19, 2007, 06:18:23 PM I was going to mention this, as well. I would like all of them to show up red on sales screen and when printing the invoice. I have both boxes checked in Setup. On the B/O item in the sales screen, it is red. But, on the Print screen, it is black. On the Return item in the sales screen, it is black. But, on the Print screen, it is red.
Thanks, Stan! Mary Title: Re: Items Highlighted In Red Post by: admin on February 19, 2007, 10:20:03 PM What about Previous Backorders? Red or Black? Figure I would check with you guys first. Probably makes sense to flag them Red to remind you as well.
Cheers, Stan Title: Re: Items Highlighted In Red Post by: meehanmama on February 20, 2007, 11:50:39 AM Previous Backorders are shown in black... and I personally like it that way. Of course... I will go with the majority vote on that. Thanks a bunch!
Title: Re: Items Highlighted In Red Post by: tweetmarilu on February 20, 2007, 03:20:02 PM I like the previous backorders in black. But, I will go with the flow. Thanks for asking our opinions!!
Have a great day! Mary Title: Re: Items Highlighted In Red Post by: Karen on February 22, 2007, 06:58:58 PM I like the NLA, backorders in red, makes it so much easier when bagging orders, as you are not looking for a product..... previous backorders that are in, in black is fine with me.
But I too as well will go with the majority as well Karen Title: Re: Items Highlighted In Red Post by: admin on February 23, 2007, 02:12:03 AM I am thinking Previous Backorders maybe should be Red on Screen and Black on printed Invoice. Red on Screen would help alert you, but Red on Invoice would probably confuse Customer.

Title: Re: Items Highlighted In Red Post by: Eriksemporium on February 23, 2007, 01:06:28 PM Or preivous back orders in blue. Different, but not drawing too much attention to itself unless you are looking for it.
My 2 cents. Erik Title: Re: Items Highlighted In Red Post by: tweetmarilu on February 27, 2007, 03:28:30 PM Sounds good, Stan! Or, another color as Erik mentioned. However, like you said, the invoice should be in black.
Have a great day! Mary EDITED: In the meantime, what happened to the B/O being printed in Red? This used to do this until I updated. Both boxes in setup are checked to print in Red. Title: Re: Items Highlighted In Red Post by: Karen on March 02, 2007, 09:30:13 AM I like the backorders printed in red on customers invoices, as it alerts them to the fact that the item is backorderd... doesn't confuse my customers, I do tell them when I deliver about the B/O
Title: Re: Items Highlighted In Red Post by: tweetmarilu on March 03, 2007, 11:26:12 AM Karen,
How do you like the previous backorders to be printed on the invoice? The majority is going with black or maybe another color. Mary Title: Re: Items Highlighted In Red Post by: Kristine on March 06, 2007, 05:31:06 PM I'd like to see the backorders and shorts from previous orders printed in black on the invoices. There is already a code letter to let customers know about any shorts they may have had. It would also be better all printed in black especially if you don't have a colour printer, or if like me, always run out of ink and only have black to print with!!
Cheers, Kristine Title: Re: Items Highlighted In Red Post by: Karen on March 07, 2007, 09:43:26 AM Previous backorders - I like in black when they arrive
Current backorders - I like in red... Makes it far easler for me to see the current backorders in red, I bag around 50 orders per campaign, and don't always remember what has been backordered. so I am not looking for items, when I see it in red.. Only my opinion. I'll go with the flow though. Karen |
