Title: Internet connection Post by: kellyring on September 20, 2006, 12:15:47 PM I am trying the demo verion until I get my registration code. I am unable to connect to the internet via the program while I can clearly connect with my browser, email etc. Is this part of the demo - no internet connection? If not - I can not find a way to setup the internet connection. (I also tested it without my firewall on). Thanks!

How do I do that??
Title: Re: Internet connection Post by: kellyring on September 20, 2006, 10:15:31 PM Very strange. I was adding a customer & hit map to see what the feature was & lo & behold my browser popped open & mapquest opened. Then I check the help tab & wanted to go to this website & I got the error message. why is that?
Title: Re: Internet connection Post by: kellyring on September 20, 2006, 10:33:59 PM I tried to download a brochure from the file toolbar option - states not connect to internet. Thanks! Hope this works out cause I love this so far!!!
Title: Re: Internet connection Post by: admin on September 21, 2006, 02:10:27 AM Try loading your Web browser (to get a Web connection) then start MBA and try downloading a new Brochure.

Title: Re: Internet connection Post by: admin on September 30, 2006, 02:48:06 PM What version of IE are you running (I think the beta of the new IE 7 can cause problems). To see version number open IE, main menu Help - About.

Title: Re: Internet connection Post by: admin on October 02, 2006, 04:30:03 AM MBA uses the DLLs from MS Internet Explorer (windows default browser). It works with IE 5.5 or 6.0 DLLs.
If you have an older version (say IE 5) just upgrade to IE 6.0 (you don't need for IE to be your default browser, just have the files on your PC). Cheers, Stan Title: Re: Internet connection Post by: rhondad83 on October 02, 2006, 01:58:28 PM I am also unable to connect to the internet and i use ie 6.0.2900 and windows xp. why do you think i can't?

Cheers, Stan I do not like using Internet Explorer. Acutally, I do not even have it installed on my computer. Is there anyway around this? Title: Re: Internet connection Post by: tabbi_cakes on November 21, 2006, 11:35:08 AM This feature is still not working for me. I have opened Internet Explorer, then MBA. I tried opening MBA first and it still does not work. I really hate that this isn't working for me. :(
I have IE 6.0.2900.2198.xpsp_sp2_gdr.050301-1519 (that was long). Please tell me you have another tip? Title: Re: Internet connection Post by: admin on November 21, 2006, 12:44:07 PM The only thing I can think of is a Firewall. Also some Virus scanners have a firewall built in/included.
