Friendly reminder that MBA has a built in backup/restore system (see main menu Files). Several people have contacted me this week with crashes and no backup. Hours and hours of data reentry. Just buy an inexpensive USB stick drive ($10 or less for 8 GB when on sale).
It only takes a minute or less to do a Backup so please do yourself a favor and backup after every campaign.

I don't think McAfee has any issues with MBA (MSE is well documented as causing issues, hope they fix it soon).
The only adivce I can give is use the built in Backup often. I am looking into Firebird (an open source database, just in case, I am told it does not have issues with MSE)

Are you using Microsoft Security Essentials? (Anti virus software from Microsoft ). It can delete or corrupt database files. If so just switch to another antivirus (there are good free ones like AVG, Avast or Avira AntiVir Personal).

You can any items to a brochure just open the Brochure and use the "New" button. You can even add items during lookup (again just use New button then use the "Select" button to select the new record for the Sales Order.
