As if you don't get enough requests, here's one more.

I do most of my communctions with customers via EMAIL.  I would LOVE IT if we could do a mail-merge type of thing where I could choose to EMAIL CAMPAIGN (like the print campaign option) and MBA would send an email (via MY email program of course) to each customer with their invoice attached and a brief message (same for all customers). (It would be important though that each customer only see THEIR email/invoice.)

OR

If that is to much work, if some of the sales order information (like name/address/email address/total) could be exported by campaign to a csv file and then I could do a mail merge using excel/word myself.

Right now I save each invoice individually and then create individual emails - which works OK but is very cumbersome.

Thanks!
Wendy

While I'm at it, another WISH-LIST feature I'd like to have is to have an ADD NEW CUSTOMER button from within a sales order.  I often don't get around adding a new customer into the system until I'm inputting their sales order and it'd be great not to have to hop around between screens to get their information in.

I know, I know... I'm SUCH a pain!

I would second the Add Customer button in the Sales Order screen.   I'm not organized enough to remember to add customers first and then do sales orders.   Sorry.    Grin

I am looking into adding emailing from within MBA, I have not thought it through completely yet so thanks for the ideas.

As for new Customer just enter their name in the Customer field on Sales Order (example "Jane Doe") and press Tab key, when MBA does not find the Customer in your current list it automatically pops up a new Customer record (with name already added).

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Stan

I would like to see an item count on customers invoices, a great tool when our orders are so large at Xmas. Not a biggie, but it does help you whne you are bagging so many large orders.

Karen,

Just to get it clear in my head. By item count do you mean total number of items on Invoice or total of Qty (example: 3 items where customer purchased 2 of each), would that be 3 or 6?

Cheers,

Total number of items ordered.eg, 3 items but customer ordered 2 of each, so that would be total of 6.
Thanks Stan.
