Hey all!
I am currently using AV4 and am considering the purchase of MBA, however I would like some feedback from former AV4 people.  What do you like better about MBA and what do you miss from AV4?

The one thing that is holding me back from MBA is the differences in Product Description.  I need more description than just "Nail Enamel".  AV4 gives FULL descriptions, ie: Product name, color, size etc. and this to me seems essential.

Well, let me know what you think.  I'd appreciate any help & opinions, because i'd like to start the new year fresh!

Thanks
Patti

Hi,
I don't know about A4, I looked into it but decided against it because I didn't want to spend the money.  I love the MBA program.  My only gripe, and one I have stressed on many occasions, is the descriptions....just like what you are concerned about.  We really need better descriptions!!!! Undecided
However the rest of the program works great for me.

I switched from AV4 to MBA , cuz of the cost as well,  Loved AVr though.
When I download the brochres I put in the colour of the products that are missed, but like you I would like to see them added instead of me doing it,  But the price is great so I don't mind the little time it takes to add the colour.
Stan is always improving this wonderful program... I like an item count on the invoice that AV4 has and I think Stan is going to do that in the next upgrade.
Suggest things to Stan and he usually listens to us.

You are right on the money there.....Stan IS great!  I don't know of a program out there that is as inexpensive as this one, with the awesome support he offers!  And he does listen to the issues people have.  I can't tell you how many changes I have seen and I have only used it for about a year and a half.
The deal with the descriptions.....the shades and scents, etc. are there....they are just in a separate cell or column so they don't show up on all the reports like the PO.  If they would abbreviate and use all the needed info in one section like Avon does, it would make it much easier to identify products where now many of them cannot be identified at all.  They already enter all the same data, would just have to make it all fit in one cell.
But, I wouldn't give up MBA for nothing.
Too bad Avon can't work with Stan and combine the two!
Keep up the superb work Stan!

My major gripe with desscriptions is that I often have to add brochure items.   I'll put in an item # and it will tell me item not found and then I have to add it (description, price, and all) in order to add it to the sales order.    And these are items that are directly out of the brochure.

Yes, I have to add all of the Outlet items that my customers order,  but I don't sweat the small stuff.

Still like the program though
