I purchased MBA on October 24th 2006, I have 2 people who are interested in getting the free codes from me, the question is, it's very close to the 90 day cutoff, as long as I make the request for the free codes, do my friends have to activate the program before the 90 days is up or does this only apply to the request for the codes?

The Codes are sent out the day the request arrives (within 24 hours).  They can install/use MBA anytime after they get them (that day or wait several months).
