Stan,

I updated to 2.05 and there was absolutely no problem in the installation.  However, when I went to open the new file, I had to jump through a series of hoops and now I don't know how to re-register the program.

When I click on the MBA icon,  I get a dialog box asking for my country.   I choose USA.  Then I get an error message saying "An error (Record not available (33)) was experienced when making changes to the Config file".    Then I get a Welcome dialog box which asks me to register the program or try in demo mode.   I click Register and then i get another message that says, "Invalid Request.  This form cannot be used to insert a record."   Then it shoots me to the demo mode automatically.      I have my codes....how do I enter it so I don't have to go through this process everytime?

Thanks...Mary

As an added note, I tried going into setup but I get that same message about not being able to insert a record and it kicks me out of Setup.  I cannot get into Setup at all.

I would just Restore your Backup from before the Upgrade.  I think something may have gone wrong with your Config file.

I have installed/updated it here ok in tests (on XP Home and XP Pro).  Every once in a while updates go wrong for a few users, that is why I always suggest doing a Backup first.  With the Backup file you just do a Restore and you have all your data/setup back.

If you don't have Backup file send me a copy of your config.tps file (as an email attachement), sometimes they can be fixed.  If not I can send you a new one (like original demo, you will have to re-enter your Setup data/defaults).

Cheers,
Stan
