Hi everyone!

This is the first campaign I've used MBA for and I'm loving it, but I've hit a bit of a snag.
I'd like to print my customer invoices on A5 paper, and I've gone to File > Print Setup and changed the setting to A5 but when I go to Sales Orders > Print, it prints as an A4 page and part of it get's cut off.

I've shut MBA down and opened it again to see if that worked but I still haven't had any luck. Any suggestions?

From my experience, the program doesn't save the printer setup once you are exit the program.  I have not had a problem with paper size as I am the US and we use standard Letter sized paper.  However, I do have a color laser printer that had multiple trays.  If I want to us the Multi-Purpose (Manual Feed) tray to print invoices on special paper, I can change the setting, but once I exit, it doesn't save if for the next time.  I have since changed my office around, and am using a different printer for printing invoices, so I don't have to worry about this issue, However, the program should recognize and save the information when you change the setting.

Question.  Might it be possible to get A4 paper and use this for printing your invoices.

I've got A4 paper but it seems like a waste of paper for small orders, if that makes sense.

You're right about the program not saving printing preferences. It just seems strange that it won't print on A5 paper even when I change the settings....

I have found a way to save paper, in your printing preferences for your printer i have selected 2 pages per sheet, it is a great feature it prints it out in landscape and you just cut the page in half and it has worked wonders for me, just remember to change it back to 1 page printing after your done printing your invoices...

Thanks Sherri! I gather this will only work if I choose Print Campaign rather than just print.

This is a good solution however it is hardware specific.  Not all printers will have this option.

Hi Stan, in the setup tab under sales orders then invoice type shot (2 per page) this is easier than setting it up my other way above, but is there any way to print it evenly on the page so the doted line is right in the center of the page this way we are not cutting and having un even invoices

is this possible stan

No, the idea of Two per Page is to be able to mix Invoices on single page (one long and one short or two short, not evenly split in middle of page). This was done to cut down on paper needed (20 Invoices but maybe just use 12 sheets of paper)

You might want to look at your Printer Driver, some printers allow for two per page printing (think of it as landscape/sideways then cut from top to bottom).

Cheers,
Stan
