Hi Stan,

On my most recent order submission C18 I was unable to upload to the Avon site.  When i pressed submit nothing happened so i ended up having to log in myself and enter the order manually.  could you please let me know when this will be fixed as I really dont want to have to do it  manually again for my C1 order.

Thanks for the help with this problem.

I will check onto it. This is the first I have heard of it so maybe Avon Canada has made changes to their website (similar to what happened with USA website).  Thanks for reporting it.

Stan,
I am also having a problem.
The first page loads, then when I try to save it I get a message 'A technical issue was encountered'.  If possible please retry your request at an off peak hour.

I thought this might be an AVON issue, so I went to their sight and entered an item and tried to save and it worked.  Then I went back to MBA and tried again and got the error message again.

Tina,

We ran into this in Beta testing.  The page got filled but the Rep cound not upload and got same message.  When I fixed an issue with the Campaign numbers she was able to upload ok.

Check to see if one or more lines has an invalid or empty Campaign number.  Let me know how it turns out.

Cheers,
Stan

What country are you in?  Avon has different website for each country.  Also see Uploading in MBA built in Help (main menu Help).

I am in Canada and have not been able to upload to avon. Whenever I try nothing happens and the program freezes and I am unable to shut it down and I have to go to Windows task manager to do it. I have been entering my orders manually which isn't too bad with the purchase order printout but I have just aquired a large amount of new customers and am having $2000+ in orders so it would be really nice to beable to start uploading the order.

I have tried shutting off my firewall which I need to do to download the brocures. I have Version 6 of explorer and Version 2.03 of MBA. The  URL I have under Setup in the Upload tab is www.ca.avon.com.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks, Bev

Ok, just did a quick test.  I created a couple of Sales Orders with a few products each and the did a Upload. It work exactly like its suppose to (Order uploaded correctly).  I thought maybe Avon had made changes to site but works ok.

My guess is that your Setup may be incorrect (MBA main menu Setup - Upload tab), see if your "Rows per Order Page" is set to 25 (any other number may cause problems as it must match the Rows, same for Refunds & Exchanges which is 6 each in Canada).  Let me know if that fixes it.

Yes it's set to 25, 6, 6. Would have been nice if it were that simple.
Any other idea's?
Thanks, Bev

I am just wondering what else it could be (same MBA, same Avon website, so what could be different).  What is the version number of your IE 6 (see IE main menu Help - About)?   Also what version of Windows are you using?

You need 50 rows for the new Avon USA Orders.  I am told exchanges are now only one per page.
