Uploads are done by "Campaign", so you can enter many previous campaigns without them being include in your Current campaign.  Just make sure when you enter historical sales that the Campaign Number field (upper right corner of Sales Order window) is set for campaign you want.

If you are doing Previous campaigns, your might consider temporarily set the "Current Campaign" (in Setup - Campaigns tab) to that Campaign and enter all of them for that campaign in one shot.  That way Campaign field is automatically filled by MBA for you. Maybe start with oldest one first and work your way up to current campaign.
