Canadian Brochure Entries..

Stan, I am thinking someone new is inputting the brochure items and am finding so many errors. It is very frustrating. Also I wish the information could be condensed into the description line, including the shade as when it spills over it does not print on the invoice and then it makes packing the order a nightmare as the shade etc is not noted. I need to have the brochure with me when packing and have to look everything up. With 70 plus orders, way too time consuming. Also the What's New is not inputted or Outlet, Expressions or Wellness. I end up having to input these all myself...Have these issues been addressed? I really don't want to start with another program as I do like MBA, but the last couple of campaigns have been way too time consuming

Excellent points Jess. I really like MBA,. but you are right there are many mistakes, and a bother to have to input for the flyers all the time.
Stan, your program is so good, it is a shame there are so many mistakes for us Canadian reps.

I have 270 customers, no helpers, BUT I really don't want to input the data base into another programyet again
Maybe I will try Companion again. I tried it when it first came out but didn't like it. Some of my data base is still in there though.. My first choice would still be to stay with MBA..

I have the same issues as Jess mentioned above. Added to that the Category section is not filled in on the brochures so now I can't use the include earnings estimate under Create Purchase order. I used this alot. Last campaign I missed the 50% discount level by $100, because I wasn't able to figure out where I was at in sales without doing it all manually.
Stan please do what you can to fix these issues. I didn't have problems with the way the brocures used to be. I was able to figure out the discriptions, except for an odd time, then I would look at the book. The changes to me have not been an improvement, especially when all of these other things that have been mentioned in all of these posts are missing.
Thanks for your help

I just did some comparing with mba and timesaver i did up a dummy order both the exact same and in mba the total was 47 products with a grand total of 336.31. i did the exact order in timesaver and the total was 342.38.
that is a difference of 6.07 in money that i do not receive. I will be printing out my cp 21 orders and entering them into timesaver to see if there is a difference if so i have been loosing money with mba.. don't get me wrong your program is awsome just has glitches that is loosing me money.. reps you might want to check this out

The changes to the Canadian Brochures is because the old way was getting later and later in campaign before they were available. Over the last three years the Canadian Brochures have changed several times simply because of the availability of data. I expect this will continue over time as a large part of it is out of my control.
I have a Rep who is going to start checking the Brochures so they are more accurate (they will never be perfect simply because even Avon creates an Corrections list). The current data source does not have Earnings categories so they will have to be filled in on the Sales Order if you want/need them.
I am looking into the ability of Canadian Reps to use COMPanion as a data source. The idea is to fill in an Order on Companion and then have a button that copies the data into an MBA Order. This would allow for corrected prices (assuming Avon had updated them) and the old style 22 letter descriptions. I would like to have it so Reps would not have to save the Order in Companion if they didn't want to (just use it as a data source). The current Brochures would still be available for download, this would just give Reps another choice.
Cheers,
Stan

I am not sure I understand this. If I place everything in Companion what be the purpose of transferring it back to MBA?
I will keep checking back and follow the changes to MBA for the Canadian reps and hope to be able to use it again soon. In the meantime I will try Companion and see what I am finding different between the 2 programs. Companion had many flaws the 2 times I tried it when it first came out and this is when I purchased MBA originally. I have threads out looking for Companion feedback as it is now. I really liked MBA before these recent chanes and it was very user friendly, which I appreciated.
Thanks for working to bring MBA back to where it was for Canadian reps Stan.
