Hi all - I have had a browse through the forums but can't quite find the answer so maybe someone can help.  Roll Eyes

I want to find out if there is a way to enter in orders for upcoming campaigns. For example, our current campaign is C01 and backorder is C18, so in MBA I have the current campaign set at C01 and can backorder from 1 campaign. However now I also have a few people placing orders for C02 which they have received early from me, and some are ordering from both the current C01 and next C02 brochures. (And I have one customer who wants to order from C01 but wants it to go through in the next ordering as a backorder as not ready for it just yet).

I am trying to find a way to be able to enter these orders as early orders for the next campaign, so I don't forget to do it once the current C01 has closed (if I just have them on the paper from the initial order I am inclined to forget or misplace them Shocked)

Do I have to change the setup so that I actually go back 2 orders so then C02 would be my current (even though I can't actually order online from it yet) and C01 would be backorder (even though it is actually the current campaign).

Any suggestions would be great thanks!

You can just change the current campaign, and then just enter the orders for that campaign.

Change the current campaign to C02 and enter C02's orders and then change back to C01 to enter C01's orders.  Then when you are done with C01 you can change back to C02 and see the orders that you have already entered.

I hope that this helps.

Like Doris says you can change the Current Campaign.

Also if youare  just doing one or two you can simply increment the Campaign Number (upper right side of Sales Order window). Click "New" and new Order window opens, it will default to Current Campaign, just increment it. The one issue with this is the newly created Order won't show in the Orders List (but if you increment Current Campaign it will display in the List for that Campaign).

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Stan
