Waste of Paper

I find that when printing my invoices 2/page I have ALOT of wasted paper!!!! Does anyone else find this a problem? Any solutions?? Lorrie

Many newer printers (in last 3 - 4 years) allow you to print two pages on one sheet. This would allow you to print 4 on one sheet of paper. Check your printers setup (print driver in Control Center).

You can also print your Invoices to a PDF file. Adobe Acrobat (the free PDF reader/display program) allows you to print 4 pages per sheet.

My Canon laser allows me to print 2 per page (in Printer Setup dialog).

You still are not answering my questions as to what do I change/where do I change these???settings to print more than 2 invoices per page? Huh

?? The tab under "File" Print Set Up does not seem to help. Please be more specific and computer friendly! Thanks again

See Setup - Sales Orders tab. Option is "Invoice Type" Full Page, Short (2 per page).

Additionally, you can also save your Invoices (and reports) to a PDF file from within the MBA Report Previewer (see red Adobe icon on Previewer toolbar , at top right). You can then open this PDF file in Adobe Acrobat reader (a free download from Adobe) and print each "page" 2up or 4up (per sheet of paper). This would cut your paper usage as well.

I am having the same problem with the printing to only 2 invoices per sheet. Tried the other options and got nowhere. In Adobe the invoices where so small, no one could possibly read them. Is is not possible to set up the program to print 3 invoices per sheet of paper - that would be the perfect solution.

Lots of people reading about this concern of the waste of paper........2 invoices per page (especially) if the order is small is a BIG waste!!!

In order to do 3 per page the routine would have to be completely re-written. The program would need to be more sophisticated than current version as it would have to figure out which Invoice were small enough to fit 3 per page and sort them accordingly. Larger would print later (without duplicating or missing any). Also Invoice can very in the number of lines needed due to the user can have some fields print or not (like points).

The current version just checks to see if after printing this one that there is room for a second (otherwise it prints on next page).
