BC HST Tax
«

Hello,
Does anyone have info on changing the BC Tax from PST & GST to HST?
I find that the program does not want to change correctly from two taxes to one tax.
Also, if it does change it, when displaying it in the view taxes in an invoice it appears that the display box is not formatted to accept more than one digit. (ie. 12%)
Thanks

I just did a quick test and got it to work. I had no problem putting in 12.000 as the tax percent field (in other countries they enter 15% - 17% for VAT in MBA so I was pretty sure it would work)
You may need and extra step which is deleting the MBA.INI file in C:\Windows folder (delete when MBA not running). This step is to get rid of the old PST column on the Sales Order window.
I assume these steps will work for the new Ontario HST as well
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Stan

I see what you mean about View (I was thinking about the Totals). I have it fixed for the next version 2.11 which should be out Thursday or Friday.
Version 2.11 contains changes necessary for the new iMBA Web program (users of iMBA will be able to access their data on home PC through a internet connected device (PC at other location like work or friends house or even portable devices Notebook/Netbook/3G/4G Cell Phone/iPad/etc. Note this assumes these device have access to internet).
Cheers,
Stan
