i have a few issues..sorry stan.  ok, i was able to get the files of my old computer onto a zip drive.  they are still there.  i set up the new computer with mba from the website using my reg codes. no prob.  i used the program for 3 or 4 campaigns just by adding my customers 1 by 1 when i had an order.  i went in today to put new orders in to print invoices. my customers are gone.  on the zip drive i have tps files and need to know how to restore the customers from the old computer to this new one.  i tried to get into the zip drive to transfer the customer tps and it stopped me asking to find the program to open the file.  any suggestions?  Thanks a bunch!

Are you using Microsoft Security Essentials?  (Anti virus software from Microsoft ). It can delete or corrupt database files. If so just switch to another antivirus (there are good free ones like AVG, Avast or Avira AntiVir Personal).

Stan,

We had the exact same problem.  Somewhere around the first of August we lost all customers.  The Sales Orders were still there, but there were no names on them.  We do not have Microsoft Security Essentials installed.  We are using McAfee Antivirus software.  Any ideas??

I don't think McAfee has any issues with MBA (MSE is well documented as causing issues, hope they fix it soon).
The only adivce I can give is use the built in Backup often. I am looking into Firebird (an open source database, just in case, I am told it does not have issues with MSE)

Cheers,
Stan
