MBA says I'm not connected to internet PDF Print E-mail

This message means that MBA cannot reach the FTP server on the webite.  MBA uses stock Windows API calls for this (standard Windows FTP done through MS Windows created DLLs).

There are a number of possble reasons for this:

  • You are on dial-up and you are not connected
  • Your internet connection is down/slow
  • You have a Firewall blocking MBA's access to internet
  • You have a Antivirus that has a Firewall blocking access to internet
  • You have FTP ports 20 & 21 blocked

The first place to look is Windows Control Panel - Security Center or your commercial Firewall/Antivirus programs.

TIP: If you are in a rush and just need your Brochure right now use the old original method of downloading Brochures with your web browser (see FAQs for info on how to do this).  This way you can get the Brochure and come back and figure out the problem when you have more time.
