What are my Backup options? |

To make a Backup of your data go to main menu File - Backup. MBA will create a file name using the date (example 20060410.MBU for Apr. 10, 2006) and add an extension of .MBU (for MBA Back Up). Enter a Path, this allows you to save the file anywhere your PC has write access, Hard Drive, CD writer, Network drive. Once this file is created you should make sure you have a copy stored OFF your PC in case your PC crashes and your Backup file is lost (example is your Hard drive dies). You should also store a copy outside of your home (friends, relative, at work, etc.).
- copy Backup file to a CD-R or CD-RW
- email a copy to your work email as an email attachment
- email a copy to a free account with storage like Gmail, Yahoo Mail, etc., again as an attachment
- copy to another Desktop in your home or to a Notebook/Laptop
- copy to a mobile storage device like a USB drive.
